Why I’m Starting a Local Paper

Millbrook has gone six years without a newspaper. When the Millbrook Courier printed its last issue in 2019, the town lost more than a paper. It lost the person who sat through every council meeting so the rest of us didn’t have to.

I was that person for eleven years. This is my attempt to be that person again, without a printing press, a building or a publisher. Ads on this page pay for my time. Subscribing is free. If you see something I should be covering, tell me in the comments.

First story tomorrow: the Elm Street bridge.
